Playgroup

Well, we hosted a playgroup here at the house yesterday -- we had 4 other 2 yr olds and a baby girl over, plus their mommies. I joined this group through Meetup.com when we first moved to GA in May. It is a group of stay at home moms who have children around Jackson's age. In fact, he is the oldest in the group and most of the moms have or are pregnant with #2. They have all been very friendly to us and I am thankful we have joined the group. Jackson did really well and didn't freak out about having so many people in his "space". He didn't even cry - which surprised me. He did, however, get possessive of his trampoline, which was a huge hit with the kiddos. Since it is his fave, I could understand why! He showed some interest and interaction, though I had to bring him in to where the kids were several times. Overall, I think we both enjoyed the morning! I think we will do this again soon!

I am testing the waters again -- I tried to start blogging and then failed miserably. I seem to have trouble staying on top of emails and news reports so I am starting fresh here with a new month. I am going to try and figure this whole blog thing out, but I really want to make this happen. I feel like Jackson has started out doing so well already, but there is so much more to do! I named it Jackson on the Go because he truly is on the go - whether it is running outside, jumping on his trampoline, or learning a new body part! Check in from time to time and see the progress he is making!!!
